Christmas Treasure Box

Okay, so curiousity got the best of me and I spent a few points on one of these items in the store...


But I can't open the thing. I have killed a ton of NPC & Lairs but haven't seen the mythical "key" that is referenced.

Any clues on how to get this, or is this something for the "Bug Reports" area?

The key is findable.
I got it myself out of a lair (Level 10)
It seems to be very rare though.

So basically they are selling something in the store, that it's a crapshoot whether I'll ever be able to open it.

Sorry, but the keys should be more 'findable'...since after all that would possibly entice more people to spend money on the christmas boxes.

If you are able to find Santaclaus he'll give you a key.

From what I heard the box gives crappy resources anyways..

I got a skill from a box, a guildmate got a day of sanctuary.. it's random

1st = stone, 2nd = stone, 3rd = stone, 4th = food, 5th = stone. the 1 i gave FLR= lev 1 skill, the one i gave Arwyn = metal, the one i gave Z = lev 3 skill, the one i gave Rip = lev 1 skill, all the others i gave out were resources. Oh i think one was a recruitment order or something.

I got 4 keys so far.

1st = 24 hour on the hook book
2nd = 3k metal
3rd = 1 tavern refresh
4th = 5k food

Okay...4 keys...mind telling me the secret?

I've had 8 heroes spamming the hell out of lairs for the past 3 days. NO KEYS.

I've had 2 others doing world NPCs for leveling, and dropping in on higher level lairs when in their route... NO KEYS

And don't tell me to find FAT BASTARD (...errr Santa Claus) I've tried to find him a lot, but short of the screen shots on the forums I have no clue how to find him.
