Augmentation glitch?

A player in R&B/Reborn has warned that the augmentation glitch is back -- that it's again possible to lose gear while trying to augment using Gems. Could someone let us know officially whether this is the case, and if it is, reasssure that it's being worked on?

i can verify that this is a fact as my gm of my guild had his sword break while attemting +15 and he was using his gems. Odysses of R&B. Pharaoh guild

well aug. success rate is anyway joke since new patch,I meen fail few time in a row on same level is just to stupid,so dont think thet snail care for anything else exept money,but with thet new crap they just not given nathing worth spending,even more with thet gready sistem they just make me even more shour in not spend any more on this game,good luck snail,hope you will find enaf rich players who will spending money on your crap

I know. After using over 1,500 ores to get a sword from +13 all the way to... +13, I've given up.

OK, I was stupid, I admit it. I tried again. over 1,200 ores to get that sword to... +11. This time, I've given up. As I'm close to giving up on the game altogether, and joining those who have already left, that's perhapos not such a big deal.

Incidentally, stating a failure rate, charging for ores, and increasing the failure rate without informing purchasers would almost certainly make Snail legally liable in most countries. It might be worth someone investigating, and getting together a class action.

They will never fix it. Better off keeping money in pocket. ive failed two cloud necklaces this week over and over. Not worth it anymore.

Snail Games has increased the failure rate on augs with the introduction of being able to buy ores in the mall.

Really crummy business practice imo.

But not surprising.

I don't think its an attempt to tick you off! I think it's more of an attempt to make it a bit more fair for free players. And then again maybe to get more cash for the paying players. But I can't really talk much since I'm a paying customer. Just thought I'd throw a lifeline to the freebies.
