trading through the Auction House

OK its clear by now that we have had enougth of our gear being sniped from the Auction House. I for one am proud of the fact that i will donate my gear to friends in the game who are not as high ranked as myself. i like selling gear cheap to the new players. it encourages growth and keeps people playing the game.

WE NEED A SAFE WAY TO TRADE GEAR BETWEEN PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!

Any ideas or suggestions then please post. keep it positive, clean and structured!!

Not everyone that plays this game is with out honor and pride. I fully support the need of a safe trade route in game.

gear should be able to be traded to guild members easy and without auction house.if we were able to donate the gear to guild town shop that would help smaller members.trying to give gear to a guildie threw auction house sucks and doesn't work at all.

gifting might be more viable

it is hard to code this one, and gifting should cost points as well

but how is snail going to weigh the gifting cost of each item?

Well, those who have said "no" (usually without doing us the courtesy of giving a reason) condemn themselves as thieves, and beneath contempt. I agree that we need a system like this -- and those who don't want it needn't use it; then they can steal from each other, and leave the rest of us to play the game with some sense of friendliness and honour.

A system of gifting might do it; a trading house for Guilds (though initially sounding attractive) would rule out swaps and gifts between members of different Guilds, or even of different Civs.

Hmm its not theft of any sort you put an item in an open auction house with a buy now option I happened to buy it faster than the person you were either giving it to or trading with. It's not my fault nor does it make me a thief that you a) are slow b) didn't put it at or above the value of the item. If anything you moral compass is askew simply because you are taking away money from the company that provides this game by trading under the tax limit which is the usual case in most snipes.
