Recovering a deleted account

So a lot of people have asked this question and even some of our top players are unaware of this feature. If you had an account that was deleted due to inactivity or any other problem, you can recover that account by following these steps.

To recover your account, make sure you are logging in to the same server that your old account was on. Once logged in, continue to create a new account that is different from your deleted one. Chose your civ and create a name, it’s important that you use a different name than the account you wish to recover (If you use the same name, you will have to change the name on the recovered account). Once you exit the tutorial click on your Town Center and click the button labeled “Recover Role”. You can now choose which account you wish to recover and give that account the same or a new name. Welcome back!

Recover role shouldn't have 8 characters limit, as there are players who have city or characters names longer than that. If someone used name which contains more than 8 characters, can't use recovery role.

i just wrote another message but it seems it disappeared... just wanted to ask you how can i select the server? I just started playing yesterday and today i found i have to restart the game brand new. Read somewhere that i should choose the same server i was on but i dont know how to select it (plus i dont even know what the old server was so i should try all of them till i find the right one... if only i knew how to do). Can anybody please help me?

WARNING: recover role doesn't recover the mails in your mailbox

i am a victim of this and snail has no way of recovering the mails, they all full of unaccepted purple gears and skill books.
