Whats the point of merchants? How do you get them to level up, they dont seem to gain xp. I tried to get to taiyun for daily quest but it is too far for lv1 merchant.

merchants are very important hero's, they basically are your life line to gaining gold, (besides plundering). merchants don't have the same stats as your fighting hero's do but rather unique stats that help with his/her collecting.
